Empowering All Women; A Boudoir Series

That woman above, in those images, is another badass Goddess that has not only braved boudoir once, but THREE TIMES!!!! The second time, she brought her hubby in for a couples session! She rocked both sessions & has more confidence than ever!

Mrs. H is an amazing human. She is such a cheerleader for everyone else & on top of that, works, runs a baking company, is adorably cute with her hubby, & finds time for everyone! During her session (& honestly, every day after) I loved being a cheerleader for her for a change! I’m so thankful to have met her & been inspired by how much of a badass woman she is!

Below is her account of boudoir & how she has overcome life struggles as an empowered woman. Thank you Mrs. H for being so inspiring & sharing your story!

  • How did you feel before your session?:

Before my session I was nervous and anxious but also excited.

  • How did you feel after your session? What was your favorite part?:

As soon as I got to the door, Kayla was so welcoming. When we laid out my outfits and I got my makeup done, I was already at ease. Knowing that I was there to feel empowered and be around empowering women was such an amazing experience in itself. Then when I got behind the camera and the music was playing, there we're no nerves and I felt completely comfortable. My favorite part about both of my sessions with Kayla we're how excited she would get over a good pose or a great shot. And how great she made me feel the entire time! I've never felt so empowered as a woman.

  • What is a struggle that you've had to overcome in life?:

I've had to overcome bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety for 6 years now. It hasn't always been the easiest ride, but I'm so thankful to be where I am now.

  • How were your able to conquer this issue?:

Through therapy, medicine, and some kick ass friends and family

  • What would you tell someone experiencing the same issues?:

That it's okay to have bad days, it's okay to feel sad. That no matter what other people say or how they make you feel, you're feelings are valid and you are loved

  • Do you feel that boudoir helped you with your journey to self love? How so?:

I do! Because of my mental health issues, I've put on a lot of weight in the past 3 years. Doing these shoots make me feel so confident and comfortable in my new body that I'm trying to love. I never knew that I could feel this sexy, or that I would ever look at a picture of myself in lingerie and be like "Damn girl"

  • What is your one piece of advice to empower other women?:

Fuck what other people think. Do what makes you happy and do you! At the end of the day, you're self love is all you got babe🖤
