Couples Boudoir FAQs | North Carolina Boudoir
What happens if a client gets “excited”?
This question comes up a lot (no pun intended). We are all adults here & sessions are more directed than you think. First & foremost, there is nothing wrong with being so attracted to your partner that you that excited. It could add to some amazing images! If this happens, I won't bring attention to it & will more than likely keep shooting. If the client(s) would like to take a break, that's completely fine too!
Will the images be shared publicly?
As with any session that I capture, I do not share any images unless I have explicit permission to do so. After your Reveal, you will both receive a Model Release that has 3 options on it; Keep all images private, share only anonymous (no face showing), & share any images.
Do couples have to get naked?
Nope! You can stay as clothed, as naked, or as in-between as you’d like!
Do couples ever go “all the way” during a session?
There is no intercourse during a Couples Boudoir session. A Boudoir session can get super steamy & catch some sexy implied images. If you’re looking to capture your passion sexually, you’d need to book an erotica session instead, which I’ll be offering at a later date.
What do we even wear for a Couples Boudoir experience?
This is actually very easy to answer. I have an extensive wardrobe guide that all of my clients receive to prepare for session day. I even have a special guide I send to couples for those identifying as masculine. All in all, bring what you’re comfy in & things you would normally wear.
What happens during Hair & Makeup for the person not getting glammed up?
For any partners that aren't having hair & makeup done for their Couples Session, they are welcome to arrive an hour after their spouse. The other option would be to sit, chill & chat with us while your significant other is getting glammed up!
