Ms. S’s Boudoir Experience

I love bridal boudoir! Ms. S came to me for a sexy, unique gift for her groom-to-be, but also to reconnect with her feminine side. She woke up the morning of her session & was feeling very self conscious. She wasn’t excited for our day together…until we began shooting! Here is what Ms. S had to say about her boudoir experience in our VIP group;

Ms. S’s Post:

“I had my session with her[Kayla] yesterday. I have horrible anxiety for one. I am constantly overthinking everything. Seriously everything. Every spot on my body, no matter how small, was a huge issue for me the morning of my session. I woke up feeling very self conscious. I went in with a very cautious and almost sad mood. Kayla quickly adapted her energy level to meet mine and helped ease me into the photo session. We started with a few very easy poses and she showed me a few of the shots she took. At first I was very "meh" because I absolutely hate looking at myself. See also have a lot of PTSD and body dysmorphic disorder. I simply can't see myself the way other people claim to see me, but I digress. My point is that Kayla helped me laugh and eventually I calmed down and found myself feeling a little sexy. The way she encouraged me throughout the shoot was so awesome. She didn't criticize me because she thought I should be or feel a certain way. She understood my issues and did everything in her power to make me comfortable.

I've heard it said before that most people book these sessions as a gift for someone but then end up feeling empowered. It was completely true. By the end of the shoot I was feeling like a rock star”

By the end of this experience, Ms. S’s inner badass had definitely come out! She was amazing! I’m so excited we got this chance to honor this Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor & celebrate her upcoming nuptials!
